Is suicide bombing Jihad?

Islam is against killing one-self as well as other innocent people. Qur’an clearly forbids killing someone unjustly and treats one such unjust murder as the murder of entire mankind. Muslim scholars all over the world have condemned killing of innocent people. Suicide is itself prohibited (Haram) in Islam.

People killing innocent people either though suicide bombing or otherwise are doing illegal action under the Sharia Law and their acts can, in no way, be attributed to Islam or Jihad.
