Jesus was Muslim.
Before we proceed further, let us recall the widely known definitions of “Islam” and “Muslim”. Islam means “submission of one’s will to God” and “anyone who submits his will to God” is Muslim.
It is interesting to know that Jesus (PBUH) always submitted his will to God and this fact is clearly mentioned in the Holy Bible (Matthew 26:39) in the following words:
He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, ”My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”
Now I wonder when will the followers of Jesus Christ call themselves “Muslim”?
