Justice with non-Muslims under Sharia Law
People generally misunderstand that Islam spreads unjustice with non-Muslims. The truth is contrary to this. History has witnessed that Mu’ahids have been given all the freedom (including religious freedom) under the Sharia Law. Following is the Qur’anic guidance on the subject:
Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on
account of religion nor drove you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity. (Source: Qur’an: Surah: Al-Mumtahinah, Ayah: 8 )
This clearly means that Allah does not forbid any Muslim from being kind and just to the disbelievers who do not engage in fighting because of the religion, such as women, children, disabled persons and weak disbelievers.
